Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes
We typically discern three types of competencies (1) knowledge; (2) skills; (3) attitudes. A competency influences performance that can be measured against well-accepted standards and can be improved through training and development. The Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes (Ch. 1) allows you to reconsider which competencies you’re training and developing.
